The Gasconade County Historical Society will meet on Sunday, March 20, at St. James United Church of Christ in Morrison. The meeting, which is open to the public, will start at 2 p.m.

Before and after the meeting, those attending are invited to view the late Drew Redeker's extensive collection of memorabilia that is on display at the church in a small room dedicated to preserving the history of the Morrison area. Persons may arrive any time after 12:30 to view the display.

Kay Schwinke, a member of the congregation and longtime member of the Society, will give a presentation on the history of the church. There will also be a drawing for the Jim Peters original painting of The Trestle railroad bridge near Rosebud.

A brief presentation on the proposed expansion of the GCHS Archives & Records Center is also on the agenda.

St. James UCC is located at 690 Highway 100 in Morrison.
